Dr. Luke gives an honest assessment at the first visit — including a clear recommendation to wait, if that's the better answer.

Invisalign Teen is engineered specifically for this — every tray includes a blue compliance indicator that fades when worn, so we can verify wear time at every check-in. At the planning visit, Dr. Luke gives a specific month-range projection based on your teen's actual case — not a generic estimate. Cost varies by treatment type and case complexity — anywhere from straightforward alignment to multi-phase growth modification. Specific numbers are reviewed at the planning visit so families see the full picture in one sitting. On insurance: we are out-of-network with most plans, but most PPO plans still apply orthodontic benefits regardless of network status. We verify benefits, provide documentation, and help maximize reimbursement. HSA and FSA are accepted. We also offer 0% interest in-house payment plans (no credit check, no third-party lender) and a 3% courtesy discount for payment in full via Zelle, cash, or check. Appointments are scheduled every 6 to 10 weeks and last 15 to 30 minutes — short enough to fit before or after school without missing a full day. Invisalign Teen is removable for sports, wind instruments, and meals, which is why most teens in band or competitive athletics gravitate toward it. For contact sports with braces, we provide custom-fit mouthguards. Across Cupertino, Fremont, and Milpitas, we coordinate appointment times around teachers' schedules, finals weeks, and sports seasons whenever possible.
