Your aligners only work their magic if you keep them clean and well-maintained. Follow these guidelines to keep your smile on track, your aligners virtually invisible, and your teeth healthy throughout treatment.

Schedule professional dental cleanings every 3 to 4 months during Invisalign treatment instead of the usual six. Aligners trap plaque and bacteria against your teeth — more frequent cleanings help prevent cavities and gum inflammation throughout treatment.

Remove aligners only for eating, drinking (except plain water), brushing, and flossing. If aligners are out too long, teeth won't move properly and trays may stop fitting.
只在進食、飲用（除白開水外）、刷牙及使用牙線時取出。若取出時間過長，牙齒將無法正確移動，牙套也可能無法貼合。
Advance trays as instructed. Use your Chewie 5–10 minutes daily to seat aligners fully. Start new trays at night before bed so your teeth adjust while you sleep.
按指示更換牙套。每天使用咀嚼器5至10分鐘確保牙套完全貼合。建議睡前更換新牙套，讓牙齒在睡眠中適應。
Always brush and floss before reinserting aligners. Food trapped under trays causes cavities and staining. If brushing isn't possible, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water first.
放回牙套前務必刷牙並使用牙線。食物殘留在牙套下會導致蛀牙和染色。如無法立即刷牙，請先用清水徹底漱口。
Use a separate soft toothbrush with clear, unscented soap — never toothpaste or hot water. Toothpaste scratches aligners. For deeper cleaning, use retainer-cleaning tablets with an ultrasonic cleaner.
使用獨立的軟毛牙刷搭配透明無香皂清潔——切勿使用牙膏或熱水。牙膏會刮傷牙套。如需深層清潔，可使用保持器清潔片配合超音波清洗機。
Don't stress about keeping aligners perfect — you'll switch to a new set every week anyway. Minor cloudiness or staining is normal as long as they are reasonably clean.
無需過度擔心保持牙套完美——每週都會更換新牙套。只要保持基本清潔，輕微霧化或染色屬正常現象。
Always store in your case and keep away from pets. Never wrap in napkins or leave in hot cars — that's how aligners get lost or warped. Contact us promptly if you need replacements.

If an attachment comes off or trays don't fit properly, don't force them. Wear the last good-fitting set and call us right away.

Warm salt-water rinses or Tylenol can relieve discomfort. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin) unless necessary — they may slow tooth movement. Contact us if pain persists.
